About Me | I have been with YogaBellies since 2012 and live in Livingston and have a 5 year old daughter. I found pregnancy to be an incredible journey and love that my work allows me to share such a special time in people’s lives, I feel truly honoured to be a part of each unique experience. Outside of class time my daughter and I love doing yoga together! (you might also find me rock climbing and taking part in pole sport!) I am a part time university student in my final year too and hope to use my degree to provide further services to families in Livingston. |
Why I became a YogaBellies Teacher... | I ran my own aquanatal classes in my local area, I wanted to look at furthering my training to offer more classes to pregnant women and children in Livingston. After speaking with Cheryl I realised that YogaBellies was perfect for my lifestyle and for the types of classes I wanted to deliver. Since joining we have now developed those aquanatal classes into a full AquaBellies franchise package, I have developed the programme, assist HQ with the running of this and train up the new AquaBellies franchisees to achieve their qualifications and run successful businesses within their own franchise territory. |
Other qualifications | YogaBellies Training: – YogaBellies Kidz Yoga Outwith YogaBellies: Diploma in Pregnancy and Postnatal Exercise Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Memberships I am currently in my final year of university studying Sports Injuries. |

What people have said about my YogaBellies classes... | “I absolutely love Laurens class at Inveralmond HS! I’ve found it an excellent way to relax during the week and even though I am probably the least coordinated person in the world, I enjoy every minute! It’s also been an excellent way to meet other mummys! I would definitely recommend this class!” -Louise Feenie “Lauren’s class was a great way to exercise throughout my pregnancy. I started at about 17 weeks and continued to 39 weeks. It’s a great place to meet other mums to be and the class is relaxing and fun. I loved being in the water every week, would definitely recommend this class.” -Lynsey Bryce “I’ve just completed my first block of 8 classes at the inveralmond class in Livingston. I have immediately extended for another block of 8 aquabellies classes which will take me up to my due date. I cannot express enough how much I thoroughly enjoy this class. It’s worth every penny and the best thing i have done since falling pregnant. This class is suited to woman of all fitness levels with a fabulous, caring and patient coach. Lauren gives every woman individual attention with classes being kept small. The further on I get with my pregnancy the more and more I feel I benefit from it. I particularly enjoy the yoga session at the end. It helps to relax me and no matter how tired, exhausted, pained and emotional I am I always leave the class feeling both physically and mentally refreshed. I won’t hesitate to recommend it to any other friends that fall pregnant in the future. I have also met some other lovely mums to be along the way which is just the cherry on the cake. Thank you!!
